In just a short time I will be taking off to help Phyllis lead a canoe trip. There are about twenty of us going. We will spend each day worshiping in the beauty of God’s nature wonderland. We cook, sleep in tents, enjoy good company, and canoe. I have heard from several friends who don’t understand my love for this activity. For me it is a time of renewal in so many ways. It is soul food and my spirit seems to soar to new heights. It is my belief that each person must find what it is that is soul food for them and then partake. In a short time I will be feeding my soul. Pray for me as I begin another journey to put my canoe back into the water.
