For what it's worth, while Sundays take their toll on you, some of us are recharged and rejuvenated because of your efforts - thank you so much - between you and the music and my little people, I always leave feeling better after a Sunday morning. Rest up today!

I know Dad was always worn out on Sunday afternoons while he was serving as a minister too. He usually served much smaller churches, but usually had two of them on a circuit. Not much different that what you have here with preaching more than one service every Sunday except with a drive in between. Rest up. You've earned it.

I share your disappointment over the vandalism. I appreciate how your reflection helps me to relate this action to my own actions and attitudes.

Ron, I'm sorry you are feeling poorly. I was sick with the flu on Monday and spent all day in what HB refers to as the "queen's room." Feeling "not normal" certainly helps us to appreciate the days when we go about our daily work and play not thinking about how blessed we are to be in good health. Will you and Phyllis please pray for a little 8-year-old girl who was airlifted to a New York hospital today because she has a life-threatening spinal surgery to face in the next day or so. Her name is Abby. Thank you, Ron.

Hi Ron,
I was looking at Marcus's information page tonight and came across the section about you and your sermons. So, I went there and was really touched how you used U tube type of a message to people. I can see that you have an alive type ministry going on at your church. You sat at the same table at Circles at St. Mark's Methodist Church with me a few weeks ago. Marcus is the leader of our spiritual writing group and also a Circles leader. It is kind of a humble amazing type person and I think I can see the source of him ...you and your wife...based on your Utube message and your willingness to share your true feelings in your blog. Glad I found it....Gives me hope that there are still some good ministers how there in this world....

Judging from Facebook, God had a better plan than you ever could have come up with. I hope the week was as wonderful as it sounded and you were able to recharge.

I often think that interruptions are God's way of getting my attention off of my agenda and onto His agenda.
