The big talk of the day is the weather. How much ice is coming and what about the snow after that event? The weather experts are saying this could be an ‘historic’ happening and that does not sound the best to me. I have learned some things today listening to all the talk about the weather.
1) I have learned the weather is out of my control. It is going to happen.
2) I have learned I must trust God for all of life and that includes the weather.
3)I have learned that one cannot live life in fear. Whatever happens with God at our side we can go on in faith not fear.
4)I have learned to give thanks for all I have. I have a warm house, winter clothes, a community that prepares for emergencies, a family to lean on, and much more.
5)I have learned that talking that I need to move on to a different topic.
I am sitting here waiting for whatever happens but more than that I am doing what needs to get done.
