Have
you ever pulled into a parking space and found that the meter had
time left on it? It is a great feeling to have your parking paid by
someone else. It is amazing how many of things in life are the work
of someone else. This past weekend was called Memorial Day weekend.
Think with me about how many women and men have given of themselves
so that we can enjoy life as we know it. I know that my parents
sacrificed so that I could go to college and have some of the things
that they never had. I even know that there are many who have given
freely to me and asked for nothing in return.
I
know that I need reminders. This past weekend is a great reminder
that I owe a huge debt to many. I also know that I could never repay
this debt but I can not only remember but also be one of those who
gives more than he/she takes. I hope that Memorial Day is more than
just a day to take off work. I hope it is a Day to truly remember
the debt we owe to others. So, I say thanks to all who have made my
life richer and more full. Thanks!!!!!
