Today I feel in the same mood as the weather. The rain is coming and going and the temperature is falling a bit. But it really is not a bad day out there. The rain is causing the world to look very green and productive. The cloud and sky make me thankful to be sitting in my office and today it looks restful to me. It is just one of those days I could close my eyes and take a good nap. As I glance out my window I feel at peace.
There are many reasons that today is feeling peaceful even in the face of what some might call a dreary day. I got a good night of sleep. I have a fairly good day ahead of me. You get the picture. But I say all of this to remind myself again that what is going on inside of me is much more important than I fail to realize at times. Knowing myself is a life time adventure that just like the weather has many different looks. If I really knew myself I think I would be more relaxed and at ease when the storms are setting in.
But for now I will just sit back and enjoy this rainy day.
